No word on lineup
The Bruins only held an optional skate this morning, so there has been no indication of what the lineup will look like tonight. We will just have to wait until game time.
Only Manny Fernandez, Matt Lashoff, Aaron Ward, Milan Lucic, and Andrew Ference skated this morning.

Net Prototypes
Anyone check out the new net prototypes that they tested today in Toronto? The nets themselves were shaped more like an oval than a square, but this is nothing new since these nets were created years ago. But the weird thing was the new goalposts which had an oval shape instead of today’s current circular shape. And even more weird is that the inside of the post was flat rather than round. All this to increase scoring? Do we even need to increase scoring anymore? Personally, I think that problem has fixed itself with the the talent in the league growing every year.
It won’t happen. The player’s association and the owners would never approve it.

Thomas Will Start!
NESN Face-Off Live just started and they have announced Tim Thomas as tonight’s starter…
I’m starting to think that Claude Julien reads my game preview and does the opposite of what I think. I would have gone with Manny tonight. Manny needs to get a start soon. Tim Thomas is heading to the All-Star Game. Why not give him the night off?

Same here, I was 100% sure it was going to be Manny tonight considering how the offense has played in front of him in the last few games. Plus the number of shots he has faced. But its just weird that Manny still isn’t getting the start…. trade rumors begin again? haha
I’m more concerned about lingering back problems

Those trade rumors were ridiculous. Obviously the only reason they took down Manny’s name plate was to welcome a guy who was being called up for the first time in his pro career. KPD just wanted to stir up trouble.

"Sweater Gate"
Are they really doing a whole segment about the sweater Milbury wore during the Winter Classic including a debate between Milbury and Gord (to the Crosby theme)? haha Don’t feel as bad about starting the K-Tapp clothing prediction thing anymore…
Thirds
Anyone else tired of seeing them wear the thirds?

Thomas looks awful tonight. He has made some questionable decisions playing the puck and has also bit on shots way too early. Thomas scares the crap out of me at times. This is one of those times.

Hey
Don’t take it so hard. You guys have lost what, 8 games all season? We’ve lost 9 games since X-mas! Also, it ain’t over yet. Atlanta came back from 3-0 and beat us. Carolina came back from 4-0 and nearly beat us. And that was just last week.
That 8-5 game was pretty cool and you guys won that.
Good luck in the Finals against San Jose.

I don’t know, the Sharks and the B’s are known for first round exits

And there's still 5:50 to go
So are they talkin’ Chara for Hart in Boston?
