Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe is reporting that Dennis Wideman will miss Monday afternoon's game against the Colorado Avalanche with a left shoulder injury. Wideman left the game in the 2nd period last night and did not return to the ice. He didn't skate with the team at practice today either. He will be replaced in the lineup by Johnny Boychuk, who will see his first ice time of the season.
