zach hamill

was surprised he wasn’t among the providence call-ups, particularly with some of b’s more offensively minded players out.

It seems like Hamill has struggled so far offensively. He has yet to score in the first 7 games for Providence.

I had a feeling

I had a feeling that Bitz was gunna take on Carkner tonight. Decent Scrap

Ya it was Bitz’ first. He held his own against a pretty good fighter both threw punches nothing really landed. Carkner did hit Bitz with a nice uppercut straight punch combo in the beginning though so he got the win, but still good showing from Bitz

I like Begin’s quick response there….even though he got smoked by Chris Neil

You almost can’t say the name Chris Neil without saying “the scrappy Chris Neil”. Probably a bordeline high hit there. Loved the reaction by Begin to stick up for his teammate.

Ya the reaction time was great. Wideman’s been getting hammered all night, and it’s good to see the guys sticking up for each other without hesitation. The hit was borderline high, but I don’t mind it. Neil saw an opportunity and took it, got his elbow up, but i’d say it was more adrenaline then malicious intent. I’ve always likes Neil for some reason. When you play the game like he does with his ferocity not every hit is going to be 100% clean…I’d say Lucic plays the same way. Good play all around. Good hit and good reaction by Begin

I agree. Neil has always been accountable from what I have seen.
