Bruins looking for 3rd straight W in St. Louis
The Bruins will be looking for their third straight win when they take the ice tonight in St. Louis to face the Blues. Tonight will likely be the return of Marc Savard, who has been practicing with the team, but hasn't been cleared for game action after recovering from a broken foot. At 8-8-4, the Blues have had very similar results in the early part of the season. The Blues will also be looking for their third straight victory tonight.

Notes:
- Marc Savard is expected to return to the lineup tonight. He centered a line with Marco Sturm and Byron Bitz yesterday during practice. This is how the lines could look tonight:
Sturm - Savard - Bitz
Lucic - Begeron - Recchi
Wheeler - Krejci - Ryder
Thornton - Begin - Paille
Chara - Morris
Ference - Wideman
Hunwick - Stuart
- Fun Fact: Blue goalie Ty Conklin participated in both NHL Winter Classic games and the NHL Hertitage Classic.
- The Blues are the only team in the NHL with a worse power play proficiency than the Bruins. The Bruins have converted 13.2% of their power play opportunities, while the Blues have just a 12.7% success rate with the man advantage.
- The Blues have scored the same number of goals as they have given up. They have scored 48 and have given up 48.

I gotta hand it to the Blues – I went to the Scottrade Center a few years ago and it’s a beautiful facility. Plus, they have by far the best looking third jerseys in the league.
Minnesota had ones like that, they were so good the team made them the primaries.
