Tim Thomas may have broken hand
James Murphy is reporting that goalie Tim Thomas, who has missed the past 4 games with an "undisclosed injury", may be suffering from a broken hand. The netminder injured the hand during a game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on November 14th. Thomas has been practicing with the team but has not seen any game action since the injury. According to coach Claude Julien, Thomas is still listed as "day to day" and could return to game action on Friday against the New Jersey Devils.

i’m hesitant to believe that report – doubtful that chia and co would let him practice with a broken hand, when it could easily be more injured by an errant shot. especially after all the money they’ve put into him with this long-term contract….
but, on the brightside, at least tuukka’s been performing well. the rest of the team has been somewhat anemic this season, though they’ve picked it up the last few games, but its fun to watch the kid finally get his shot.

The B’s are so secretive about injuries. That is a good point.
