It looks like the B’s are going with the lines they used in Monday’s practice.

How do you think they’ll do with those lines?

Could be much worse offensively than they have been lately. Why not shake things up? Although that Paille, Sobotka, Wheeler line seemed to be clicking

Maybe splitting up sobotka and wheeler to get two scoring lines?

You can’t blame Thomas for 3 guys in the crease and no one picking up the trailing Red Wing. If they aren’t gonna score goals then they need D, and it’s just not there right now.

Anyone catch the Cam Neely interview on Felger & Mazz today? Really interesting. Some good read between the lines stuff about Kessel.
by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Nov 3, 2009 8:22 PM EST reply actions 0 recs
I am going to rely on this blog to alert me to good Felger and Mazz bruins content as I cannot stand to listen to the show on a regular basis.
by ike6116 on Nov 3, 2009 8:24 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
I like a lot of what Felger actually says but not how he says it. He comes off like a douche, but he makes sense a lot of times.
by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Nov 3, 2009 8:26 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Sometimes, other times he is being a contrarian to generate calls. Also I cannot tell you how much I don’t give a shit about what does and does not “Do it” for felger. They are both horrible about reading when callers are making jokes. The Price is Right Fail sound when he hangs up on callers REEKS of WEEI and I also don’t care for how he’s a prick to B-Real.
Mazz is alright but doesnt have a strong enough personality to not have felger’s awfulness rub off on him (We’re supposed to root for the yankees, come on mazz you’re better than that)

lets not go overboard in our misery here. I think not only are we playing lack luster but a lot of bouncers arent going our way either, I’ve seen Sturm ripped off by fate and Chara and others ringing post with regularity, not to mention that our top 2 forwards are injured.

Here is what I see with the return of Looch and Savard… When they both return it will give the team a mental boost…kind of like OK we got our top guns back lets turn it on. They will string together 4-5 wins. Those 4-5 wins will give the team confidence in their abilities again and get them playing the solid hockey of last year….I mean let’s be honest the team has been playing pretty good lately without the results….That was a stupid penalty….OH and with Looch and Savy back the PP will still suck

42 against Carolina, 34 against the Ducks(worst game I’ve ever seen in person, but the B’s playing so bad that night made me go to the Charlie Horse in West Bridgewater to drink my sorrows away, and Josh Thompson was playing a free concert for their Country Night so I guess them playing badly was actually a good thing.) Other then that they usually have 27-29 a night

I’m still hesitant to start questioning the team it’s not like the team played bad tonight. A 4 minute period of bad decisions and flukey goals. But we did carry long periods of the play. Had good scoring chances the bounces just didn’t go our way again…. our last four losses we have been in the game the entire night, Right now it is easy for teams to shut us down because we only have two lines of scoring threat. When Looch and Savvy return we’ll be able to roll three scoring lines which will give us more scoring opportunities, more goals, and more wins
by Dangles-McDonnybrook on Nov 3, 2009 9:51 PM EST up reply actions 0 recs
Axelsson doesn’t cure the power play problems or the lack of offense which are the two biggest issues right now.
