Wow

The Bruins ticket gauging has even made it’s way down to Providence. $26 for an AHL game…no thanks.

That’s why I got the 10 flex pack. I gotta start using them, though.

by Arenacale on Nov 5, 2009 8:45 PM EST up reply actions

That was a bad change for the B’s. Why change when you have numbers and are carrying the puck?

by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Nov 5, 2009 7:30 PM EST reply actions

Good intensity in the first period, but one really sloppy play. Dennis F’n Wideman

by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Nov 5, 2009 7:44 PM EST reply actions

yep — millbury is saying it was an incorrect decision, but on replay it looks like he caught his edge briefly well before that, and was still recovering when the breakout started (he was moving in a clockwise arc)

by jctsai12 on Nov 5, 2009 7:47 PM EST up reply actions

Yeah, still needs to see the ice better or Hunwick needs to see it. Probably a combo of both.

by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Nov 5, 2009 7:50 PM EST up reply actions

agreed — he shouldn’t have been in their zone with the puck in the corner there; looked more like he should have been cruising somewhere between the red and blue in the middle

Hey it’s Marc Savard and he isn’t wearing anything by Ed Hardy or bedazzled.

i wonder

how kessel slides his hand on his stick for slappers with that weird spiral tape

by jctsai12 on Nov 5, 2009 8:27 PM EST reply actions

need to tie this up in the third. i can’t take 3 straight shutouts.

by jctsai12 on Nov 5, 2009 8:42 PM EST reply actions

i think you have to go back a long way to find 3 consecutive times the B’s were shutout…and I am way to lazy to do that. They need to win so I don’t have to track that stat down for the recap.

Price

Why does Carey Price decide to be dirty tonight? I have him on my huge fantasy team and he’s been horrid all season long. Now he’s pitching a shutout against the B’s? Not cool.

my own fantasy team

is suffering because I showed a bias towards the Boston players. Homerism; the death knell of fantasy management

RE:

I actually have zero Bruins, but may pull off a trade for Chara. Hopefully…

throughout the history of SOs…not very. The best shootout guy is wearing a Leafs sweater now.

by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Nov 5, 2009 9:40 PM EST up reply actions

really?

I thought Kessel didn’t have great stats in the SO?
Hopefully Thomas can make a save. Cammalleri and Gomez did the exact same move on Toskala on Saturday, it was shameful how they both scored.
