Game Preview: Bruins vs Lightning 12/28/09
The Bruins will look to sweep their golf trip Florida road trip tonight against the Lightning in Tampa. The Bruins, who are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games will be looking to add to a 3 game win streak, while Tampa who are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games will just be looking to turn things around.

- In somewhat of a surprising move given the schedule of the week and some meaningless game on New Years Day , according to boston.com it will be Tim Thomas in net tonight for the Bruins against Mike Smith of the Lightning.
Milan Lucic skated with the team this morning, but remains on the IR and will not play tonight.
- Face-off is at 7:30, public skate here on The Chowder at 6:30.

What exactly is Julien’s problem with Rask? I really don’t get it, the guy has great numbers, it’s the second game of a back to back, and he’s starting Thomas AGAIN? Ya, Thomas has been playing good, but this is how you use the Bruins so-called goalie of the future? Just another decision by a coach that I personally have my doubts about.
...and yet, still consistantly choosing a bottle in front of me rather than a frontal lobotomy.
