I’m hoping for 3 things tonight:
1. #81 gets booed
2. #81 gets shutdown (and possibly roughed up)
3. Jack Edwards utters the phrase “Finger bangs Wideman from behind”
That’s all I’m asking for. A win would be nice too.

Line of the night so far
“Tonight marks the triumphant return of former Bruin Joey MacDonald… er, Colton Orr… um, Wayne Primeau… Naturally, we’ll keep an eye on Phil Kessel tonight.”

Paille was down on the ice near the net and he gave him a little shot in the back.

I wasn’t planning on watching the game (I need to make some progress in DiRT 2) but I’m gonna after that 8 minutes!
I have no idea what you are talking about. I assume it is a video game.

Good individual effort by Sturm to get his own rebound

Wow, awful game by Kessel. By far his worst as a Leaf, seems like he is trying too hard.
Hopefully the Bruins get a couple more goals so there will be more fights.
Go Leafs and Bruins!
What do you mean? He got an assist on that last goal.

That is a textbook instigator penalty.

Call Colton Orr a thug or a goon but he knows his job and he does it well. I don’t like the way he went about it there, but he was just protecting his teammate and he went after someone that he thought did something wrong.

But I thought he was all about the tough playing now? What with his big fight in Columbus I heard about like 78 times yesterday. Gotta love Toronto media. Nick Kypreos called him “a brand new player.”
You don't score on 100% of the shots you don't take!

He got jumped and hugged the guy the whole time. I don’t see how that was considered a “fight” when Stuart and Mayers only got roughing minors for throwing actual punches.

A lot has made me happy tonight, but watching Bergeron skate and weave like that made me ecstatic!
