Did Phil Kessel try to talk Marc Savard out of re-signing with the Bruins?

Marc Savard was on Dale & Holley on WEEI this past Thursday. During the interview, Marc Savard mentioned that he stays in touch with Phil Kessel and Phil told him not to re-sign with the Bruins.

"Yeah, I have. We text a lot. He was obviously one of the guys telling me to wait and to not sign."

- Marc Savard when asked if he stayed in touch with Phil Kessel

They also talked about playing in Boston for another 7 years, Zdeno Chara's nude photos in SI, and the current state of the team.
