Most of the Bruins were given the day off from on-ice training today. Only Manny Fernandez, Byron Bitz, Mark Stuart, Matt Hunwick, and Blake Wheeler skated today under the guidance of assistant coaches Doug Houda and Craig Ramsay and goaltending coach Bob Essensa. The rest of the players worked out off the ice. There is still no real updates on the injuries to Petteri Nokelainen and Chuck Kobasew. Boston.com is reporting that Nokelainen had a doctor's appointment today to examine his eye. Chuck Kobasew was at the rink today for treatment, but Claude Julien doesn't know if he will be able to practice tomorrow.
