Habs make first move of deadline season
It is officially trade season. The Montreal Canadiens have traded a 2nd round draft pick (2009) and 3rd round pick (2010) to the Atlanta Thrashers in return for defenseman Mathieu Schneider and a conditional 2009 draft pick.
