7th Player Award
The Bruins will announce the winner of this year’s 7th Player Award in a ceremony before tonight’s game.
My money is on either Blake Wheeler or David Krejci. Both guys exceeded expectations this year.

Scratch Montador
Hnidy in lineup.
I’m guessing this means Hunwick skating as a forward.

Enough with these “classically trained” singers. Give me more Rancourt. Nobody belts out “Oh, Canada” like the man with the golden pipes and the tuxedo.

you know, i’m starting to wonder if there’s something wrong with him, and that’s why he’s singing so infrequently
Or they are slowly forcing the old man out.

that was the lamest 7th player award presentation i’ve ever seen. no thank you speech from krecji, no video…..
Have you heard him talk? They did the poor kid a favor there.

oh i know his english isn’t great, but he still could have said thank you or done a little lap or something
he is my favorite broken English interview since Bergeron’s rookie season

It looks like they forgot to freeze the pucks tonight

It looks like that Hnidy/Stuart D-pair that I hate is back. Stuart needs to be paired with a guy that can move the puck.

B’s need to shutdown the Sens top line because let’s be honest that’s all they got.

were the fans booing there because they didn’t understand the hand pass rule?

….but the Sens have the best win pct. when leading after one.

bad turnover there. glad nothing came of it.

getting rid of the 2-line pass was a great rule change.
example A: Chara’s homerun pass
by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Apr 2, 2009 8:11 PM EDT reply actions
kind of a bad break. Wideman needs to realize that he is trying to keep the puck in there and drop back too.

is it me or has there been some funny hops tonight?
by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Apr 2, 2009 8:14 PM EDT reply actions
we were just saying that after the stuart deflection off the boards (that hnidy basically dug out of the goal)
especially off the endboards behind Thomas.

I like that the B’s are finally out-shooting their opponents again.
27-18 tonight through 2

That might be the first time anyone has ever compared those 2 players.
by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Apr 2, 2009 9:03 PM EDT up reply actions
OK, I give that but their games are completely different is what I was getting at. One is a physical forward w/ finesse who loves to shoot the puck and the other is a pass-first playmaker.
