B's sign Bemidji State goalie Matt Dalton
The Bruins have signed Bemidji State goaltender Matt Dalton to an entry level contract. Dalton will leave Bemidji State after 2 seasons at the Minnesota school. Dalton led the Beavers to an NCAA Frozen Four appearance this year, while compiling a 19-10-1 record in 30 starts to go along with a .921 save percentage and 2.16 GAA. Dalton's former coach at Bemidji Sate, Tom Serratore said the 6'1" 189 lb native of Clinton, Ontario has "has good size, squares to the puck and has great reflexes" in a report from the Bemidji Pioneer.

I had trouble finding a solid scouting report on him. I sent an email to a guy I went to college with who was a ref in the USHL at the same time Dalton was playing in that league. I’m waiting to hear what he has to say about Dalton’s game.

He didn’t say much but said that he has known Dalton for years because he was working in the NAHL at the same time that Dalton was playing there and both moved up to the USHL around the same time. He said he is a good kid and a solid goaltender. He said that the Bruins should be happy about this signing.
