Johnny Boychuk wins Eddie Shore Award
Providence Bruins defenseman Johnny Boychuk has been named the '08-'09 winner of the Eddie Shore Award. The Eddie Shore Award is awarded annually to the AHL's most outstanding defenseman. Boychuk has 63 points (20-43-63) in 73 AHL games this season.
