Claude Julien in the running for Adams Award
The NHL announced today that Bruins Head Coach Claude Julien is among the three finalists for the Jack Adams Award, which is awarded annually to the NHL's coach of the year. Todd McLellan of the San Jose Sharks and Andy Murray of the St. Louis Blue are the other finalists.

well, after screwing up the masterton (giving a nod to chelios over bergeron? really? oh he’s old, make sure he gets a trophy….) at least the candidates for the adams are correct. even if julien doesn’t get it, all 3 candidates are definitely deserving.

1) The whole Masterton trophy idea is a joke. Its become the ‘comeback player of the year’ award. Who ever comes back from the most horrific injury/illness is assured of winning.
2) Julien should/will win the Adams this time around.

I give Claude alot of credit, but its a shame if this award goes to anyone other then Andy Murray. He took a young, un-expirienced, last-placed team in febuary, and made a run to 6th place in the most competitive division in the confrence.
