Status of Ference and Wheeler unknown for Game 4
From CBC Sports:
"Julien declined to disclose whether Andrew Ference or Blake Wheeler will be available tomorrow.
Ference looked like he aggravated a lower-body injury in the second period when he was checked into the boards by Scott Walker. Ference skated only three shifts in the second period and didn't play in the third period or overtime.
Wheeler was hurt while blocking a shot in the second period. Wheeler underwent X-rays after the game."
In the event that either player or both players can't play tomorrow night, I would expect Shane Hnidy to take Ference's spot and Byron Bitz to step in for Wheeler. Call ups could also be likely, considering that they don't have any other healthy bodies. I'd like to see what Johnny Boychuk can do, but that might be throwing him directly into the fire.

Mix it up
Hnidy and Bitz works!!
Maybe cut Chara loose to play his game and let someone else chase Staal around. He’s a smart player and has figured out how to counter the shadow strategy.
Moving the puck to the point worked in period 1 last night.
Kick the defense back up and start banging again, gotta slow Carolina down!

Time to get it done, the Bruins must play better, they have to get pucks deep and get the goaltender moving. I didn’t see a lot of good shots close in last night.

A shake up might be good.
Bitz showed he could handle the pressure when he played in the Habs Series, and Hnidy was the hero of Game 2.
Mixing the lines might just work, as KJSK said, let someone else tag Staal all night.

mixing things up can go one of 2 ways… I think the Bruins could really use one right now. That is scary as a Canes fan.
