Bruins extend GM Peter Chiarelli's contract

PrintThe Boston Bruins have announced that the team has extended the contract of General Manager Peter Chiarelli. The terms of the deal have not been released, but it is a multi-year contract. The Bruins have scheduled a press conference for Tuesday at noon at TD Banknorth Garden, where Charlie Jacobs and Peter Chiarelli will speak to the media about the new deal and the future of the Bruins.
