Bruins ink 3 year deal with David Krejci

Stay connected for news and updates

The Boston Bruins announced today that they have re-signed forward David Krejci to a 3 year deal worth an average of $3.75 million a year. Krejci will earn $3.5 million next year, $3.75 in '10-'11, and $4 million in '11-'12. The Czech centerman had a breakout year for the Bruins. He lead the NHL in +/- (+36) and finished the year with 73 points (22-51-73).

I thought that re-signing David Krejci needed to be priority #1 for the Peter Chiarelli and the Boston Bruins this offseason. I am glad this deal got done early in the offseason. $3.75 million per year is a pretty reasonable rate for a player of Krejci's caliber. I am happy to hear that David Krejci will likely be pulling on the spoked-B for at least the next three seasons.
