Garden changes name again; rips off Willy Wonka in process

Much like the Tampa Bay Rays denouncing the "Devil", the TD Banknorth Garden will drop the "Banknorth" and become the TD Garden on July 16th. Perhaps inspired by the Montreal Canadiens' new ""Lollipop Guild" line, a Wonka-esque golden ticket contest was developed to coincide with the name change. Chocolate bars will be handed out at the TD Garden and at select TD Banknorth bank locations. Inside the wrappers of the chocolate bars will be prize notifications, including 5 golden tickets for a chance to win to tickets to every event held at the TD Garden for the next year. No word on if any of the golden tickets are for a private tour of Jeremy Jacobs' mysterious factory in Buffalo.
