Reckless Photoshopping
When I was a kid, and I would bring home NHL 94 for the weekend from Hub Video on East Broadway, I would never be able to figure out why the Bruins, dressed in black whenever I saw them, would inexplicably be brown in the game. As I got older, I learned that brown was a traditional team color, and that, in those games, it was a way to distinguish the B's from the posers other black-and-gold team in Pittsburgh. Brown would otherwise be forgotten as a Bruins color, until the awesomeness of the Winter Classic jerseys revived it for a new generation. Turns out, it doesn't look all that bad. So why not reintroduce it full-time? Through the magic of Photosh-excuse me, Paint Shop Pro 9, I was able to approximate the look:

OK, so they're not quite the same shade, but it should give you a sense of how it might look out on the ice. Personally? I kinda like the idea. A nice dark chocolate brown would be different, but in an old-school kind of way. Thoughts?

Brown and gold doesn’t have the same flair that Black and Gold does, though.
