Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

Krejci "probable" for opening night tilt with Caps

The assignment of Brad Marchand and Zach Hamill signals that David Krejci, who had offseason hip surgery, is likely ready for game action. Fluto Shinzawa of The Boston Globe is reporting that Krejci is probable for Thursday night's season opener versus the Washington Capitals at the TD Garden. Krejci skated on his familiar line with Blake Wheeler and Michael Ryder during today's practice. Krejci's return to the lineup is great news provided that he is fully healed and ready to play at 100%.

This is not someone who should be rushed back at all.

I don’t care if he’s 99%.

If this is doctor cleared, fine, but no “I know I’m ready, to hell with the doctor’s” mentality on David’s part.

Not that Julien would put him in if he had any doubts…but still.

agreed

I hope to see him tonight, but only if it’s because he’s 100% healthy. It’s seven months before we need playoff heroics of playing through the hurt…
