I'm calling it right now. Bergy will score 20+ goals this year.

we could use it
I’m not a huge Kessel guy and know that not every one of those 36 goals was “clutch,” but there’s no denying the Bruins lost a bit of firepower when he left. Bergeron stepping up and regaining his pre-concussion form again would be awesome.

SoCo is right (SCOC, hope you don’t mind that nickname— its a bit “catchier”;-)
He should have a great year if he stays healthy.
jctsai— i’m pretty sure we’ll be OK. Pretty much every gifted scorer needs a good playmaker to get the puck where they want it. Kessel had Savard for that. Now that Kessel is gone, I’m pretty sure Sturm and a few others can pick up where Kessel left off.
Case in point: Glen Murray. He was a 40+ goal scorer when he was paired with Joe Thornton. After Joe left, he was pretty much useless. I expect a similar decline in Kessel’s stats (but not as big as Murray’s decline)

When I first came up with the name for the site, I never thought that people would refer to the site and me by the unfortunate nickname “SCOC”. You can call me whatever. My real name is Evan.

25 plus goals
Bergeron is going to be great this year. He’s such a talent. I could see him playing on a line with Savard by the end of the seasons first month
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring. ~Rogers Hornsby
