Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe and Boston.com is reporting that David Krejci was on the ice for the informal skate today at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington and even participated in a 5 on 5 scrimmage. Krejci, who underwent offseason hip surgery, said that he would like to return to game action in October and has not ruled out an opening night return.

Everyone except Zdeno Chara, Milan Lucic, and Tim Thomas participated in the informal skate today in Wilmington. The trio of missing players were in New York to do some promotional work for the NHL and Versus.
