Game Notes:

- Miro Satan will be making his Bruins debut tonight, skating on the 3rd line with David Krejci and Blake Wheeler, most likely wearing #81 in your program.

- Before his 4 goal outburst on Sunday against the Flyers, Alex Kovalev was standing mightily at 7 goals, talk about a vanishing act.

-Tim Thomas gets the start in net tonight.

- With no official word on Patrice Bergeron and his hand injury, it would be my guess that Milan Lucic will take Adam McQuaid's roster spot on either Thursday or Saturday when he returns.

- Speaking of injuries the Senators are without 2 of their top guns. Jason Spezza and Daniel Alfredsson are both out for tonight.

- Face off is at 7:30, Game Thread on the Chowder at 6:30 7:00.

Bergeron

Puckdaddy had a link to a Pierre LeBrun ESPN article saying Bergeron had an injured thumb and would miss 2-6 weeks. Hopefully closer to the 2 weeks.

I believe the olympics start exactly 6 weeks from today too. It would be a shame for Patrice to miss that opportunity.

Darren Dreger on twitter said 3 weeks, so that’s a good sign. Still sucks.

Cam Neely was on 98.5 and said that those rumors are unconfirmed. There has been no table set for Bergeron’s return or disclosure on the severity of the injury.
