The Bruins kicked off their European road trip the right way, beating the Belfast Giants 5-1 in Belfast. The Giants were essentially an all-star team from the EIHL, the United Kingdom's hockey league.
Tyler Seguin scored twice, with Zdeno Chara, Milan Lucic and Brad Marchand scoring once each.
The Bruins were held scoreless for the first 38 minutes, and a second period goal by Jade Galbraith put Belfast up briefly before the B's poured it on.
Not a lot to learn from this one; the EIHL All-Stars probably wouldn't be a competitive team in the AHL. The Bruins head to Prague next, where they'll open the season against the Coyotes on October 9.
