Jamie Arniel sent back to Providence
The Bruins announced today that they have assigned forward Jamie Arniel to the Providence Bruins. The 21-year-old Kingston, Ontario native made his NHL debut on Sunday in a 4-1 loss to the Atlanta Thrashers. The Bruins called up Arniel on an emergency basis over the weekend after Jordan Caron and David Krejci came down with the flu. Both Caron and Krejci were on the ice for practice in Wilmington this morning and are expected to be ready to go on Thursday when the team travels to Philadelphia to take on the Flyers.
