Danny Picard of CSNNE.com reported that Michael Ryder left practice early with an undisclosed injury. Claude Julien told the veteran right winger to call it day for precautionary reasons, saying ""As of right now, as we speak, I don't see an issue. That doesn't mean there won't be. But he went off because I asked him to, to play it safe."
