Bruins recall Jamie Arniel on an emergency basis
The Bruins have called up forward Jamie Arniel on an emergency basis. David Krejci's concussion and a possible injury to Michael Ryder created the need for the Bruins to dip in the well of young talent in Providence. This will be Arniel's first shot with the big club. The Kingston, Ontario native who is a week shy of his 21st birthday has racked up 9 points (6-3-9) in 12 games for the Baby B's this season.

Any news on what may have happened to Ryder? He has been so solid so far this year and very physical. Would be a bad time to lose Ryder after Krejci’s injury.
It’s sounds like something minor that has been bothering him for a while. I think Julien just wanted him to get some rest and not risk having to miss a game or two with the roster already depleted.

Huh
I would have expected Hamill.

I’m starting to wonder if the Bruins think that Hamill really isn’t all that. I know that during the State of the Bruins Chiarelli said that they’ve been patient with him and that it’s “payed off”, but I’m starting to believe that they hope it’s really going to pay off at the trade deadline.
like i have been saying for a bit now, hamill does way more for the boston bruins as trade bait than as an actual player. he has shown a couple of flashes here and there, but very few and far between. i think that he is gone by the deadline.
on a seperate note, i am really nervous about the fact that the bruins already have to dip into the providence talent pool. its too early to have this many injuries poping up.

Makes me a little nervous, too. Part of that is injuries from last year, though. Hopefully Ryder’s thing is extremely temporary and Krejci starts remembering what day it is again soon.
