I like KPD when he writes for the paper, but he is awful on Boston.com’s blog. I usually pull the lines and starting goalies from there. I’ll try to hunt it down elsewhere

I couldn’t agree more with that first sentence. Compared to Fluto, it’s incredibly scattered and there’s a decent number of typos. I guess you could say that KPD hasn’t quite warmed up to the online/blogging era of journalism.

What is up with this? I love how the Bruins are trying to come off as if they disclose a lot of injury info with these doctor interviews on NESN.

Talk about a black eye…looks like someone did the Kaleidoscope trick on Tanner Glass

by Dangles-McDonnybrook on Feb 6, 2010 1:11 PM EST reply actions

OMG that looks really bad…he’s leaking

by Dangles-McDonnybrook on Feb 6, 2010 1:25 PM EST reply actions

That looked awful. Looks like it was above his eye though. You always worry about eye problems when something like that happens.

by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Feb 6, 2010 1:28 PM EST reply actions

Looked like the Vancouver Defensman initiated the contact, Lucic shrugged him off and got the call…damn

by Dangles-McDonnybrook on Feb 6, 2010 1:34 PM EST reply actions

Nice Tip by Ryder…PP Goal!!!

by Dangles-McDonnybrook on Feb 6, 2010 1:38 PM EST reply actions

Finally

They look dominant today. Gotta keep this up for the whole game

by DanTuc27 on Feb 6, 2010 1:41 PM EST reply actions

Good start for the B’s. It’s nice to be able to score on the power play.

by ed c on Feb 6, 2010 2:50 PM EST reply actions

Weird, they listed Ryder’s number as “73.0” in that player card on screen. Maybe they do this for everyone (the decimal) and I just never noticed.

by jctsai12 on Feb 6, 2010 2:58 PM EST reply actions

Note to Savard: if your options are an open shot or a pass to Wideman 9 times out of 10 go with Option A

by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Feb 6, 2010 3:09 PM EST reply actions

likes this! hahahaahah

can you make that a shirt?

by ed c on Feb 6, 2010 3:12 PM EST up reply actions

Canucks blocking a ton of shots

by jctsai12 on Feb 6, 2010 3:11 PM EST reply actions

well, seems like every shot in the last 5 mins was getting deflected. maybe they weren’t official shots on goal in terms of trajectory though

by jctsai12 on Feb 6, 2010 3:16 PM EST up reply actions

What a sequence there. Just back and forth. it’s a track meet out there.

by Stanley Cup of Chowder on Feb 6, 2010 3:15 PM EST reply actions

by Killer B's on Feb 6, 2010 3:20 PM EST reply actions

I can’t take this…As soon as Vancouver tied that up, you could see that feeling of defeat return to everybody…

by viewfrom311 on Feb 6, 2010 3:26 PM EST reply actions

by jctsai12 on Feb 6, 2010 3:33 PM EST reply actions

by BlueNGoldBomber on Feb 6, 2010 3:36 PM EST reply actions

2 more shots and another 40 game saver vs. the B’s…

by viewfrom311 on Feb 6, 2010 3:38 PM EST reply actions

Oh great.. a shootout..

The little kids on the Mini 1 on 1 have better shootout skills than anyone on the Bruins roster

by DanTuc27 on Feb 6, 2010 3:39 PM EST reply actions

he really has, hes responded well to people calling for his head

by BlueNGoldBomber on Feb 6, 2010 3:40 PM EST up reply actions

by DanTuc27 on Feb 6, 2010 3:45 PM EST reply actions

They should let the B’s use a soccer net in the shootout

by Killer B's on Feb 6, 2010 3:46 PM EST reply actions

There’s always tomorrow…

by Dangles-McDonnybrook on Feb 6, 2010 3:47 PM EST reply actions

I'm sick of hearing

“The Bruyins played really good today, they just ran into a hot goaltender”

Give me a break, this team can’t score goals. Plain and simple.

by DanTuc27 on Feb 6, 2010 3:51 PM EST reply actions

“the bruins ran into another hot goaltender”

thanks Gord. there’s also the fact that the bruins make the goaltender hot every night
