hello all.
i would’ve swung by during yesterday’s game, but i was partying friday night, and didn’t get home until halfway through the game yesterday (i’m on the west coast).
however, your game is on cbc today, so i’ll swing by now :)

It's hard to believe they're still only 2 points out of a playoff spot
And only 5 points behind Montreal with 3 games in hand. Not exactly a banner year for the eastern conference. String together a few wins here and they’re very much alive.
That’s the charity point system of the new NHL.

exactly.
it’s a little annoying though. earlier in the season, dallas was only ahead of vancouver in the western standings and taking the playoff spot because they had 10 OTL’s and vancouver had none. we still only have 2 (although we’ve only been to overtime 6(?) times this season)

I wonder if Carey Price and Pauly D from Jersey Shore have the same barber?

How is that not inference? Chara moved the puck, the player stopped, reversed directions and bumped Chara.

Where's Timmy?
I have no problem with Tuukka getting the nod again today, a little surprising though. Is this going to start some trade rumors?
They have already started http://www.ottawasun.com/sports/columnists/bruce_garrioch/2010/02/06/12775246.html
Not that I put a lot of stock in what Bruce Garrich writes.
Rask has just been the better goalie lately. Why not see what he can do in a pressure situation in at a difficult venue?

That was a disappointing bout. Props for throwing the helmet down.

Him and Lapierre I can’t stand. I would love to see both of them get pounded, by someone who can throw ’em.
