Bruins in Jersey for date with the Devils

The Bruins are in Newark, NJ tonight to take on the New Jersey Devils at the Prudential Center. Both teams will be looking to bounce back from disappointing losses on Saturday night as the B's lost 3-2 to the Montreal Canadiens and the Devils dropped a 4-2 decision to the New York Islanders.
Injury Report
Notes:
- The Bruins will have their work cut out for them. The Devils allow a NHL-best 2.39 goals per game, while the Bruins have the league's worst offense at 2.36 goals per game. In case you were wondering, the under/over for this game has been set at 5 goals.
- I would expect Martin Brodeur to get the start for the Devils since he starts roughly 75 games a year.
- The Bruins need take advantage of their power play opportunities. The Devils are strong 5 on 5, but have been fairly average on the PK this year (81.5%, 17th in NHL).
- Game starts at 7:00 and can be seen on Versus in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada.

…Versus. The Bruins never do well when they’re on it, their cameras suck and have a greenish tint that turns the B’s gold to a sickly “Gulden’s Mustard” color, and I bet we end up with Doc Emerick doing play-by-play and fawning over the Devils. Ugh.
Still better than TSN: They give higher priority to Poker than hockey. Why else is it on TSN 2 (the overflow channel which you need to subscribe to, but is an obvious cashgrab)

That’s pretty damn high unless marty’s in olympic form…and the Bruins magically turned into a good team.

Uggh. More thuggery in the NHL. Some sort of poetic justice tho. Hoping that the players will finally start policing themselves.

Not that it is Crosby’s fault, but he will be the target of Cookes actions. As captain of the team I can’t say I feel that badly for him.
