Today is Break-Up Day. No, not the anniversary of the day that your ex-girlfriend found out you were stooping the secretary from your office. Today is the day that the Bruins packed up their things from TD Garden (some for the last time) and headed home for the summer.
It is also the day when Peter Chiarelli and Claude Julien dodge answering questions from the media by using GM and coach speak. It's OK, we should all feel warm and fuzzy about everything that just happened in Game 7 because they are "not making excuses" and the B's were "one of five teams to be in the second round" in the past two years.
