Savard and Carcillo with some biting words after Game 2
Daniel Carcillo claims that Marc Savard bit him during their altercation in the second period, while Savard claims that Carcillo stuck his hand in his mouth and tried to pull on his teeth. We will never know the real story of what went down in that scrum, but we have plenty of quotes and accusations on both sides that could fuel the fire in this series.
Marc Savard:
"He pummeled on my face. He pulled on my teeth, so I guess that’s biting when a guy tries and pull your front teeth out like his. I guess…I don’t know…I don’t see how that [is biting]."
"Yeah…I mean he embellishes stuff so obviously under the pile, you try pull out my front teeth, so if that’s a bite then I don’t know what to say."
"Yeah, his glove tried to yank them out. I don’t know if you want to look like him but he pulled on them, that’s for sure."
"Yes, it was his glove. I tasted his fingers pretty bad. I just tried to get out of there."
Daniel Carcillo:
"Last time I have been bit was in grade school. It is not a good feeling it is pretty cowardly."
"Oh yeah that’s what I try to do when I get into a scrum is try to pull people’s teeth out."
"Guys don’t bite. Men don’t bite."

Funny how he says "Men don't Bite"
But men “dive” and “embellish” anything and everything?
If he bit him, I honestly wouldn’t give two shits. Carcillo is a loser who takes any and every cheap shot possible and deserves any and everything that happens to him.
Good Win
Bruins, it might be a successful postseason in Beantown yet.

What's he doing with his hand near his mouth anyway?
Put your hand near/in someone’s mouth, expect to be bit.
He's a punk
“Guys don’t bite. Men don’t bite.”
Men don’t take dives. Carcillo turtled and faked a head injury after Begin hit him, and this was after Carcillo took a shot at Begin’s head.
He’s a punk.
Would be a suspension in regular season no doubt in my mind. But Philly is desperate and nothing will happen because of this.
Does a bear shit in the woods?
Carcillo is a masterful troll. And now instead of talking about the Bruins being up 2 in the series we’re talking about how he tried some amateur dentistry.
I have to think little danny was raised by wolves, because he obviously never heard the old saying – “You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can’t pick your friend’s nose.”

If Carcillo is putting his finger in Savard’s mouth, of course Savard’s going to bite down as a natural reaction to try to stop the impending invasion of oral privacy. I’m sure it’s going to be a tremendous miscarriage of justice if Savard isn’t suspended, but I don’t see how this is going to amount to much.
Theres no proof as far as I know, so if anything Carcillo will be looked upon as a cheap hack who cried wolf. Also, for Carcillo to be putting his fingers in Savards face, he was more than likely looking to gouge an eye. He gets what he deserves.
Does a bear shit in the woods?
I hope most of the Bruins just laugh it off, honestly Carcillo isn’t worth their time. They’ve gotta score goals and play defense. Old time hockey! Eddie Shore!
…and yeah maybe let Begin kill him or something.

He is one of three players I wouldn’t want on the Bruins, Carcillo, Mop Head Hartnell and Matt Cooke…
I think Carcillo is a major league hack and a disgrace.
I absolutely hated Marvin Harrison.
I think Carcillo would be an absolute folk hero in Boston.

No, actually. If your gonna add an annoyance/distraction of a player you might as well throw sean Avery, darcy tucker, matt cooke, scott walker or some other douchebag
I’m happy with the agitators we have

Carcillo doesn’t bother me. Yes, he is a clown and says and does stupid things. Yes, looks like he should be leaning on an ’85 Camaro outside a Dairy Quen in Kentucky hitting on 15 year old girls, but he was just doing his job. Savvy took a whack at his goalie. He was protecting his goalie.
The dive on the hit from Begin was a little irritating. The thing about Carcillo that make him different from Hartnell, Cooke, Avery, Claude Lemieux and those pukes is that he will actually answer the bell and drop the gloves.

I dont have a problem with Carcillo protecting Boucher and overall Im pretty neutral in my feelings for him, but what I despise is the flopping he does. If it looks like soccer, it looks like garbage
He took a full whack at his glove in mid-air. Carcillo has to stick up for his netminder there.

Hartnell bit Letang last year in the playoffs and nothing happened to Hartnell so I don’t see anything happening to Savard here.
I say this all the time. When it comes to Colin Campbell all bets are off and everything is in play. He is a completely loose cannon so you never know what he’s going to do. It is entirely possible that Savard gets suspended even if there is no video to support Carcillo’s claim. What I would really like to see is CC review the hit Carcillo put on Begin. It was clearly a head shot and deserves a suspension according to the rules. But this is the playoffs and the wheel of justice spins on. Nothing will happen to Carcillo and his diving will continue.
That it is.
And I like how we stand going into that Game 3

Behold
The continual epicness of Down Goes Brown.
Trumped only by this mildly off-topic comment on Broad Street.
Carcillo should be Tased
If you get a chance, watch the postgame interview with Carcillo on CSNNE. Every time the reporters ask DC about the biting incident he shifts his eyes around the room and doesn’t look anyone in the eye as he answers the questions. A clear sign that he is being evasive. IMO he is clearly lying about the biting incident. That is not to say that Savard didn’t bite a finger the was shoved in his mouth. I think he did. I also think Carcillo realizes that he got what he deserved for sticking his finger in someone’s mouth.
Here’s the link to the video:
Choke hold
Correct me if I am wrong but, wasn’t it the game on saturday that in that exact same corner, Car-Silly but his hands around the throat of Satan or maybe it was Savard. That isn’t how men play the game either. What’s his answer to that?

Gloves
If you watch the replay I believe dipshit is punching Savard with a gloved right hand. If you look at the pic at the top of the post dipshit’s gloved left hand is holding Savard’s head. When dipshit shows the ref his supposed bitten left index finger where did the glove go ? is it on the ice or under his right arm? I have my opinion. Not to mention that if dipshit actually let go of Savard with the left and took the glove off or dropped it my guess is that Savard who was on the defensive from the moment after he took a wack at the goaltenders glove would be backing away to posture for a go with him not stand there with his mouth open for dipshit to stick his finger in. I think dipshit had his finger up his ass like it was for the rest of the game.

I was wrong he showed his right hand which was clearly gloved while he was punching Savard. It came off after they were seperated!!
Carcillo is just finding out...
That Savard’s bark is worse than his bite!
(I’ll be here all week, folks!)
I was waiting for someone to say that Arenacale!
