"I’m not moving it," Chiarelli said of the second pick, one of two first-round selections received in the Phil Kessel trade. "We’re going to take one of those two forwards."

Tambellini says he’s listening to all offers for the #1 pick. It sounds like he’s much closer to screwing this up.
If Oilers don’t select Hall I’m gunna be so pissed.

just curious.....
why do you want the Oilers to select Hall? I’ve been told that they need a good center/playmaker. If that’s the case, wouldn’t Seguin be the better option for you Edmonton?
So the Bruins don’t. (he’s a leafs fan)

That explains it....
If that’s the case, wouldn’t Seguin be the better option foryouEdmonton?
I still needed to correct this though, it was bothering me
Ya sorry
I thought the “Sons of ’67” was a dead giveaway.
If Bruins get Hall, we will never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever hear the end of it. Ever.

But then again if Seguin plays better than Hall you guys will probably never hear the end of that either =P
But then again if Seguin or Hall play better than Kessel you guys will probably never hear the end of that either =P
Fixed it for you.
True in the long run it all comes down if Kessel can outplay not just this 1st round pick, but all 3 of the picks he was traded for.
Ruh roh.
Whatever, I’m soooo passed the Kessel deal. Our new controversial deal will be whoever we can get in return for Kaberle dontchaknow. (Spoiler Alert: Not that much)

I would rather have Taylor Hall than Tyler Seguin, so I wouldn’t be pissed. I am counting on the Bruins getting Tyler though.
why?

I’m sure as hell you aren’t the GM…..what would you want him to do? trade the pick for an aging blueliner? that wouldn’t improve our future in the long term……
I’m glad he’s holding onto this, although I certainly expected nothing less (or more).
Me too. I just get a feeling something bads gonna happen.

This is the right answer to that question
even if he was trying to move it. You have to try and increase the value of your assets.
NO

I myself don’t but it had been mentioned on the radio last week.
The rumors of the trade of Savard and Wheeler to Columbus are interesting though. Figuring we get Seugin.

Can I ask a question?
How is it the Bruins ended up with the 15th pick? By my math they should have been 23 for where they ended up in the playoffs.
All this buttoning and unbuttoning
shhhhhhh we’re all hoping nobody notices.

Seriously though
Maybe it’s a dumb question on my part, but how does that work? I would really appreciate it if someone could explain it.
All this buttoning and unbuttoning
I’ve been wondering since they’ve been saying it at the beginning of the playoffs before the Bruins were out.

All the teams that don’t make it to the Conference Finals or win their division are ranked based on points in the regular season. Since the B’s snuck into the playoffs and did not play in the Conference Finals or win the division, they got the 15th pick.
