"Boychuk -- Agent has been contacted, said Chiarelli. Meanwhile, rumors continue to circulate that the Oilers, in Boychuk's hometown of Edmonton, will offer him a three-year deal worth upwards of $2 million a year. At that price, the Bruins might have to let him go."
This is relating to a PC update he ran down. What I don't get is how on earth $2M per year for 3 years would be too much for the B's to pay Boychuk.
I would say $3m annually is too much, but $2m doesn't seem far out of line at all to me
