Bruins re-sign Mark Recchi

According to multiple reports the Boston Bruins have re-signed veteran winger Mark Recchi.  The team has said that Recchi will make the same $1 million dollar salary as he did in the 09-10 season.  According to CSNNE.com when Peter Chiarelli was asked about Recchi, Chiarelli called Recchi "a wonder, and a huge help with mentoring the younger kids".

Now they should buy Recchi a house and make Tyler or Taylor live with him for a year! Have them eat together, show up at the rink together, take showers together! Just velcro the two of them together and maybe by osmossis they end up with a little Recchi by the end of the year!

This was definitely a fist pump when I saw it scroll on NESN yesterday. Couldn’t be happier.
