Replace the Ric Flair "Woo" with Fred Cusick

I called for this a long time ago, but as I do not have an influential blog I have no pull in these matters...but this might spur it actually happening. Do it, Bs!

I do like the “wooo!” echo from the fans but a “shot, score!” from Cusick would be a classy homage to the late, great Fred Cusick.

They don’t even really need to get rid of the “Woo!”, my preference has always been that they stick a “Score!” between the horns and the start of the music.

Or before the horns like in the mockup they have in today’s post, that would work for me.

Taking that a step further, why not replace the horns altogether with Cusick? If I were the Bruins, I’d have the “Score!” call then go right into Nutty (The Ventures’ version), and not do the overused Zombie Nation thing. Simplicity and class.

I emailed the Bruins right after he passed suggesting this idea, so I’m glad it’s gaining traction through other venues.

i think that would be the best way to do it, however, i would go with the dropkicks version, seems like its a little louder and a little more of a crowd booster

I like the idea of throwing in a Cusick “Score!” call in between the Horn and the start of the music. I’d def go with DKM’s version of Nutty. The horn needs to stay IMHO. It’s a hockey thing. Every team, Every Arena has it’s horn, I don’t see the horn going anywhere. I do think they need to get rid of Zombie Nation. A few teams have it too, the B’s need something different
