The Bruins were downed by the Washington Capitals 3-2 in preseason action in DC on Tuesday night. Jeremy Reich and Brad Marchand found the back of the net for the B's, while Matt Bartkowski factored into both goals by recording helpers. B's netminder Nolan Schaefer turned aside 25 shots in the loss. The B's and Caps will run this one back in a re-match tomorrow night in Boston.
