Bruins trim roster to 25

The B's trimmed their roster to 25 today, sending Joe Colborne, Zach Hamill, Jeremy Reich, Steve Kampfer, Jeff LoVecchio, and Wyatt Smith to Providence.

I thought Colborne and Kampfer might have hung around a little longer, but no surprises. Looks like Bartkowski, Marchand and McGrattan have a shot.

I’m a touch surprised about Hamill, it sounded like he was in the mix for the 3rd center spot. Unless I missed something, Jordan Caron looks to have a real chance of winning a job.

Caron on the wing with Seguin or Wheeler as the 3C, right?

So lines potentially are as follows:

Looch / Krejci / Horton
Recchi / Bergy / Ryder
Seguin / Wheeler / Caron
Paille / Campbell / Thornton
X – Marchand

im really thinking caron will be there opening night, seems like weve had this situation come up a few times over the last few years where a guy wins a roster spot in camp (krejci, looch, wheeler)

the thing about hamill is that he is terrible, thats why he got sent down.
