Stat of the Week

Through 8 games of his Sophomore campaign, Tyler Seguin has a line of 3-6-9. Interestingly enough, after 8 games last season, Seguin had 3 goals as well. He would only go on to score 2 more before New Year's. Seguin didn't record his 6th assist last year until his 28th game, and didn't accumulate his 9th point until Dec 1 (his 23rd game).

A few other things I wouldn't have expected to see through 8 games.

- Chris Kelly is 3rd on the team in points with 5.

- Andrew Ference leads all defensemen with 4 points. (Ference didn't record his 4th point last year until Dec. 9th).

- David Krejci has yet to record an assist. Although Krejci went the entire Montreal series last year without recording an assist.

- Dennis Seidenberg has the lowest point total of Bruins blueliners with 1.
