According to Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe, Bruins captain Zdeno Chara will miss the next week's games with Los Angeles, Ottawa and Philadelphia after suffering a knee injury in Saturday night's 5-3 win at Columbus.
The loss is a big one for the Bruins, who could go into Philly with a chance to take first place in the conference over from the Flyers.
Steven Kampfer will take Chara's place in the lineup, and it's likely that Dennis Seidenberg will be called on to shut down opposing top lines during Chara's absence.
