Sports gambling information website Covers.com has rookie defenseman Steven Kampfer listed as "out indefinitely" with a concussion. I have not seen this reported by any other media outlet, but I can say that Covers is usually very accurate when it comes to injury reports. This may explain why the Ann Arbor, MI native was a scratch on Sunday against the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena.

Kampfer does have a history of head injuries that stem from an alleged assault by a University of Michigan football player. Hopefully, this report is false. The Bruins have had to deal with concussion issues fair too often.

UPDATE (6:47 PM ET): According to Joe Haggerty of CSNNE.com, the Bruins are denying the report on Kampfer having a concussion:
