The Flames will probably be glad to get back to playing indoors. It was ass cold Sunday, and the ice was horrendous.

by Phunwin on Feb 22, 2011 9:30 AM EST reply actions

ass cold

Does this correlate to a temp range or…?

by Arenacale on Feb 22, 2011 9:31 AM EST up reply actions

Low. Very low. You know, like an ass. Just be glad it wasn’t ankle cold.

“Heel cold” is absolute zero.

Hoping that the Flames still haven’t defrosted from the Heritage Classic. It’s one thing to hold an outdoor game in January in Boston, another to hold it in Alberta in February.

Pretty excited to watch the new-look Bruins in action.

I’m a season ticket holder (in the balcony on the end, where it’s cheap) with no kids, wife, pets and no reason NOT to go to games.

I like your scenario better though, can we use that?

I’m hoping the B’s are up about 5-0 in the second so I can go to bed. I’ll be up for the start, but probably not the end.

by Phunwin on Feb 22, 2011 12:01 PM EST reply actions

I could go for that.

I’m also in for this but will probably stay up to the end of the game anyhow.

I will miss that. Stuart NEVER backed away from a fight. And my God, the man’s jaw is so massive that opposing fighters probably broke their hands punching it.

….if you really want to tune into that pregame bullshit, then yes, 8:30

by delta on Feb 22, 2011 3:58 PM EST up reply actions

No, I mean it’s a tuesday so that means there’s a non-bruins game on versus. However, the game Versus picked is at 8:30 so there’s no non-center-ice help from 7 to 8:30.

Hey everyone, over here from Second City Hockey, but I’ve always loved the B’s, watched them when I was very young living on the East Coast. Also, I would really like you to beat Calgary! Mind if I join ya’ll this evening?

Probably my favorite portion of a road trip all year.

I’ve always enjoyed it when the Bruins head out to play Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver. A once a year experience, I just wish at least one of those three teams was coming to Boston this year.
