Around SBN: How The Kings Beat The Coyotes: Lather, Rinse, Repeat

Bodog's Stanley Cup Odds

These are, of course, strictly for entertainment value.  Hat tip, as always, to the magnificent Puck Daddy.

Vancouver Canucks 3/1
Washington Capitals 11/2
San Jose Sharks 7/1
Philadelphia Flyers 8/1
Boston Bruins 17/2
Detroit Red Wings 9/1
Pittsburgh Penguins 11/1
Anaheim Ducks 20/1
Tampa Bay Lightning 20/1
Chicago Blackhawks 22/1
Buffalo Sabres 25/1
Los Angeles Kings 30/1
Montreal Canadiens 30/1
Nashville Predators 30/1
Phoenix Coyotes 30/1
New York Rangers 35/1

17/2 on the Bruins?  That's great value, especially considering Puck Prospectus listed the Bruins as having the second best chance of bringing home Lord Stanley's beer mug.

Canucks at 3/1?  I'd take the field on that bet.  Way overpriced.  And Philly at 8/1 doesn't exactly look good to me either unless Chris Pronger has been playing possum all this time.  Even then, I don't see their goaltending holding up.  Detroit at 9/1 is a straight sucker bet.  Old and slow just ain't gonna hold up for 4 rounds.

Nashville at 30/1 might be the best bet on the board.  No, I don't think they will win it all, but I think their chances of doing so are a good bit better than 1 in 30.

So, basically, you hate reading anything sportswriters say about your team.

There no way the B’s should have the second best chance of wining The Cup. Wings at 9-1 is the value pick there.
