David Krejci: "We will win."
It looks like a confident David Krejci has provided the Montreal Candiens with one of the series' first bulletin board quotes. The Bruins center spoke with the media after today's practice and stated just how confident he is that his team can take Game 2 at home on Saturday before heading to Montreal.
"Obviously, we want to win. We have to win. And we will win. We don’t want to go Montreal with a 2-0 [deficit]. That would be tough. But I’m very confident in our team."
Bruins center David Krejci

This was countered by Chiarelli stating that while of course they would like to win Game 2, they’d be happy as long as we can get through it in 7 games.
I came here to say exactly that. Can’t believe how PC pussyfooted around that question. Weak sauce.

This
Is what the team needs. Someone to have big cojones and act with some freaking confidence. A bit surprised it was him, but pleasantly surprised. Now, hopefully that’ll light a fire under everyone else

You're kidding right?
the only people capable of making such bold predictions, and living up to them are Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan and in hockey…Marc Messier.
David Krejci is no Marc Messier.
but we’ll see tonight, right?

I don’t know who this “Marc Messier” character you speak of is. Do you mean Mark Messier?

It’s the Habs fan unreality where every big name is actually quebecois. Like Cristobal Prongeur

Recchi doesn’t always have an A. Bergeron always wear the first A and the second one rotates between a few guys.

No, he doesn’t. It rotates from month to month.

You guys both have the same Habs blinders on, so it is no surprise that you understand each other.

Robert L on the other hand…
And the "No-Show Joe" award goes to????
David Krejci!!!!
Way to go David. To win an award named after former Bruins capitaine Joe Thornton — the best player ever who consistently goes silent in the playoffs.
David, you make baseless predictions that you yourself can’t follow through on. You taunt your fans with offensive flourishes in the regular season when there’s no pressure on you or your team to only go silent when it really counts.
Congrats on the “No-Show Joe” award David. At least you won something :)
