There is something that I completely don’t understand and that is how is it that no matter where you go Bruins fans or even all Boston/New England sports fans are completely shredded by other fan bases for being classless idiots who have no respect for anyone and it bothers me.  

It bothers me because I read the comments on every post and game thread and the fans that I interact with on twitter are all great people who have their flaws.  But every fan base has those flaws and that is what comes with being passionate about their team and it is complete hypocrisy by Lightning fans or Canucks fans or Canadiens fans to say that we are the only fans to act this way.  Yes we get into fights or arguments about who is better but that is the same as when we were all younger and saying Superman was better than Batman but at the same time there are some pretty insightful comments that have questioned why Claude is still coaching the team and not them. 

As I sit here in my Bergeron jersey I want to know where are all these horrible classless fans that I read about and hear about? Are they at the Red Sox games or are they the bandwagoners who don’t know how to act at a hockey game? 

I enjoy reading the posts by Phunwin and SCoC and sometimes I trek over to DOY for their comedic take on the Bruins and they’re opponents.  I don’t understand where all this negative talk is coming from by the other fans.  As a Bruins fan in the southeast I have encountered every form of hate thrown at me for just being Massachusetts but I have never taken it personally unlike the fans.  I don’t want to rant or ramble too much but I just want to know where all this hate for Boston sports came from  to cause fans band together just to hate on us.

P.S. The schools system I was in was pretty good and not everyone is obsessed with Nascar and loves country.  The stuff on Cowhead would be frowned upon by most of the people I know except the guy from New York.  Also I own a Lecavalier jersey but he is one of my favorite players, just not right now.
