You wouldn't expect a guy with just one goal in the last six games to channel his inner Mark Messier, but Daniel Sedin did just that. Sedin said to the Vancouver Sun's Brad Ziemer, "we're going to win game 7."
After Roberto Luongo's ill-fated poke at Tim Thomas, it's a bit surprising that the Canucks would provide yet more bulletin-board fodder in this series. Maybe Sedin felt that his team needed their tires pumped.
We here at Stanley Cup of Chowder hope that Sedin's guarantee proves to be less Mark Messier, and more Matt Hasselbeck.
