The Hurricanes resigned Joni Pitkanen for 3 years and $13.5 million.  Might be good news if the Bruins want to resign Tomas Kaberle.  Pitkanen has been, over the last three years, extremely similar to Kaberle, but is five years younger.  Hard to see Kaberle getting more than 3 years when that was all a much younger, nearly identical, player got.
