plllllease enlighten me...

a few questions for you, maybe you can help me understand.... why would a hit (rome on horton) that would have been a 2 minute minor in October or November, suddenly qualify for a 4 game suspension during the stanley cup final series? I hate seeing concussions in any sport, but although rome was committed to the hit, horton was watching his pass instead of keeping his head up in a collision zone. and why did they replay it 4 times in slow motion immediately after and comment on how late the hit was, when in real time it wasn't really that late a hit? ( see http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/hockey/globe-on-hockey/ ) 2. why would Mike Murphy, colleague of Colin Campbell (father of Bruin Greg Campbell), consult with Burke (who has a well known animosity towards the Canucks) regarding the penalty for the hit? And please enlighten me as to why, hard core Canuck fans who are taking time off work, paying top dollar for tickets, who have flown to Boston to watch the games, are afraid to wear their jerseys to the game? if the series goes to 6, I was planning on going to Boston for the game but I think I'll watch it from here now. not trying to stir it up, not 'trolling'... just looking for some opinions....
